Yes, you can cancel your Flixbus ticket up to 15 minutes before the trip and still get a refund. The more notice you give Flixbus, the more of your ticket they will refund you. If you cancel 30 days or more before your trip, you’ll get a refund; if you cancel between 7 and 29 days, you'll receive a 70% refund.

If you cancel with less than 2 days' notice, you’ll only get a 20% refund from FlixBus. You will receive a 100% refund for extras such as seat reservations and luggage. Sadly, if you cancel, you won’t be refunded the booking fees or service fees.

You can generally sit wherever you want on Flixbus as long as the seat hasn’t already been reserved. If you want a specific seat, you can do so when booking your ticket.
